Are you aged between 18-30? Do you have ideas? Are you curious about the inner workings of performance, access and / or leadership?
Diverse City is working alongside Rising Arts Agency to recruit two young people (aged 18-30) to join Diverse City’s board.
What is a board?
A board is a group of people who oversee how an organisation is run. They meet several times a year to support the Chief Executive Officer or senior leadership team to guide the future success and direction of the organisation by sharing their ideas, insight and holding the organisation to account.
Interested, but feeling a bit of imposter syndrome?
Don’t worry! Through Rising Arts Agency’s Onboard programme, you will receive training, support in your board role for 12 months to help you flourish in your board role. You’ll be part of a cohort of other young people who are also on boards, you’ll have the space to learn, vent and support each other together. Plus, it’s a great opportunity for your CV.
Is it paid?
Being a board member is a voluntary role, but your travel and access will be covered.
Interested?
Send a short expression of interest (either written, video or voice note) by 11:59 1st March 2023 on to Tilda at Rising Arts Agency [email protected]
* (Expression of Interest (EOI) is either a couple of paragraphs, a short video or a voicenote that says you’re interested in something while giving you the opportunity to explain a bit about you and your skills so that the people choosing can figure out whether you’re right for the role. It’s not a CV but more of a shorter, less formal cover letter).
