Every time someone plays the National Lottery, they’re contributing to good causes across the UK. Every week, £30 million goes towards arts and culture, local communities, heritage and sport across the UK – which is where money for much of Arts Council England’s funding comes from.
National Lottery Ticket buyers have made extraordinary things happen for Diverse City in 2017.
- Our Youth Company, Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists, has produced and toured a dynamic new show called Becoming and trained south west artists and organisations supported by Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts.
- Extraordinary Bodies, our partnership with Cirque Bijou, has grown to become the country’s first integrated professional circus company with support from an Arts Council England’s Ambition for Excellence grant.
- We have developed our organisation through an Arts Council England Elevate strategic grant.
And last, but by no means least…
- From April 2018, Diverse City will join the Arts Council’s National Portfolio Organisations.
Every single one of these investments has been possible because of National Lottery players. #ThanksToYou, you have helped make extraordinary things happen and Diverse City has so much to be grateful for.
