Nothing should stand in your way
From placements on our succesful Unexpected Leaders project, to creative opportunities in our artistic output, to individual artistic mentorship – there are loads of ways we can positively impact your artistic journey.
Let's change the arts!
When you’re working with us, we take our responsibility to you as an artist extremely seriously.
While we aren’t a sector support organisation, there are loads of ways artists can engage with us, and benefit from all the experience we have in accessible auditions and interview, inclusive rehearsal rooms, and representative programming, casting and staging.
If you’re an artist who does not see themselves well represented onstage, please consider auditioning for one of our shows, or applying for one of the many fellowships and bursaries we offer each year. If you’re under 30 and live in the Bournemouth and Poole area, why not try joining our Young Artists company, Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists for a chance to rehearse, perform and create new work with a professional young company.
Beginning soon, we’ll be featuring the work of a few of the incredible artists we’re working with for a year. We hope this will be an ongoing practice for Diverse City, with a new group of artists featured every year. This will allow us to shine a spotlight on their talent, talk what we’re creating together, and to collaborate on content which we can share with you here on the website. Stay tuned!
